Constitution of the Women's Inter-Dormitory Council

The constitution of the Women's Interdormitory Council outlines rules and regulations for elections, membership, officers, meetings, amendment process, and details the duties of officers as well of the organization. The Women's Interdormitory Council sought to œfoster good relationships among all women students, to formulate rules governing women students. Article VIII of the constitution list the responsibilities of the organization which were to make all rules concerning dorms, regulate punishment for infractions of dormitory rules, take considerations from house councils, deal with cases of female students violating general college policies, make recommendations to college officials, set standards of conduct and dress, guide social activities, determine procedure of election process for dormitories, and direct selection of rooms.
