The Young Women's Christian Association

In 1902 the officers of the organization were: Mary Ranck, Georgia Cranston, Laura Dix and Mary Mosser.

The Young Women's Christian Association was first organized at Dickinson College in October of 1902. The organization sought to "deepen the spiritual lives of the girls, to train them for Christian work, and to promote in them the spirit of helpfulness." The Y.W.C.A. raised money for the support of an American woman who was involved in the organization's work in India. In 1905 one of the delegates of the organization was sent to the State Convention in Scranton, Pa and their future plans included attending the National Convention in Nashville, Tenn.
